Reflection on last two weeks.

The last two weeks we have learned many things. I finished my historical figure project on shakespeare and we began learning about russia and the republics. Today we started presenting projects and I learned about rembrandt. It was very interesting.j I also learned how to evacuate busses. Now, I can be safe if the bus ever catches on fire or hits a train. I am actually pretty excited about the russia and the republics unit because I don't know as much about that regions history as I do the rest of Europe.

Global Warming

I believe global warming is a serious problem be it naturally occuring or man made. The global ecosystems are very sensitive. One or two degrees changes can cause serious problems later on because if one species dies out, that subsequently puts other species at risk as well. My community puts caps on co2 emmissions from factories and cars and austin is becoming a very environmentally friendly city. for example many buildings are being redesigned to be more energy efficient so that less fuel must be burned to supply the energy to the town. Also if the polar icecaps melt than many american metropolises will flood displacing tons of people.
